    She is the 7th of 11 siblings.
    She said that when her producers asked her to change her singing style from gospel to R&B, 'I was like, 'Don't tell me what to do. I've sung all my life.' '
    'I Can't Stand The Rain' was the only one of her songs to make the Pop Top 40.
    When the R&B hits dried up, she returned to gospel.
