Vocalist

The Resume

    (December 4, 1969- )
    Born in Plainfield, New Jersey
Sang on Arrested Development’s ‘Tennessee’ (1992)
Recorded the album ‘Wild Seed – Wild Flower’ (1994) and single ‘I Know’ (1995)

Why she might be annoying:

Although she recorded and toured with them, she was never an official member of Arrested Development.
She broke with Arrested Development before a concert in Atlanta after getting into an argument with Speech and Headliner (September, 1992).
    She was a one-hit wonder.
Creative differences with Columbia Records resulted in her second album not getting released until 2007, when it was issued through i-Tunes.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was named after Dionne Warwick.
She said one of her fondest memories of growing up was attending a Diana Ross concert at age eight, being lifted onto the stage by her uncle, and receiving a kiss from Ross.
She was cast in the lead of her high school’s production of ‘Annie’ at a time when a black Little Orphan Annie was considered controversial.
During her time away from the music biz, she raised and home schooled her daughter.
Prince wrote the song 'Dionne' about her.
