Why she might be annoying:

During a senate committee hearing, US Olympic teammate, Evelyn Ashford accused Flo Jo of using steroids (1989).
She denied the use of steroids but retired just prior to spot testing becoming mandatory.
She died at 38 years old of an apparent heart seizure (which again opens speculation about illegal drug use).
According to the coroner, she died of asphyxiation as the result of an epileptic seizure.
Although her family says this clears her of enhancement drug use, it in fact doesn't prove it either way.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was known as Flo-Jo, years before Jennifer Lopez became J-Lo.
She has a 22 acre olympic park named in her honor.
She started the trend of wearing extremely long painted finger nails (most of the time adorned in Red, White and Blue).
Her beauty caught the attention of many when she raced in a one legged track suit, exposing the opposite leg.
