Boxer

The Resume

    (May 21, 1951- )
    Born in Stockton, California
Retired professional boxer, usually fought as a light-heavyweight or cruiserweight
    Professional record of 61-15
Inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2007
Well known for his toughness, enormous physical strength, and wild brawling fighting style

Why he might be annoying:

He could never win the proverbial 'big one,' fighting for the light-heavyweight title three times and the cruiser-weight title once, losing all four fights.
A Mexican-American, he got his nickname, 'Yaqui,' by illegally entering a Native-American only boxing tournament posing as a Yaqui Indian.
He had no concept of defense and didn't take a punch on the money particularly well.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was one of the most exciting fighters in the history of the light-heavyweight division.
His decision loss in his second title fight with Victor Galindez was an absolute disgrace.
Even his opponents were in awe of his courage and toughness.
He is considered by knowledgeable boxing fans to have been one of the greatest, if not the greatest, light-heavyweight to have never won the title.
