    She has not appeared on television outside of 'As the World Turns' or functions relating to the program.
    She was once fired from the show because the show's creator Irna Phillips did not like the way her character Nancy Hughes poured her coffee.
    When she was doing the show live in the 1963, her lines where suddenly preempted by the news of John F. Kennedy's assassination.
    Her appearances on the declined as her health deteriorated.
    She never won a Daytime Emmy for her work on 'As the World Turns.'
