Why he might not be annoying:

While filming the scene from ‘Poltergeist’ where the clown doll comes to life and pulls him under the bed, the doll actually started to choke him.
Steven Spielberg thought he was acting until he saw his face turn blue and pulled the puppet off to save his life.
He grew up to become a director.
