The Resume

    (1997-2005)
    Founded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Members were James Renald (1997-2000), Antoine Sicotte (1997-2005), Anastasia (2000–03) and Karl Wolf (2003–05)
Notable singles include 'Love Song,' 'Some Kinda Wonderful,' 'All I Want,' 'Superhero,' 'Dedication' and 'Crazy'

Why they might be annoying:

They weren't the first band to call themselves Sky, which leads to lots of confusion due to their music styles.
They came to fruition at the height of the boy band craze of the late 1990's.
James left the band as a result of camera shyness, following their mainstream exposure in the American market.
James refused to attend the Juno Awards when the duo won the award for Best New Group, leaving Antoine to get the award solo.
They failed to repeat the same degree of success with Anastasia and Karl as lead singers.

Why they might not be annoying:

James and Antoine formed the band as engineering students in Montreal.
Antoine personally recruited Anastasia to form a new group, before electing to continue using the Sky moniker.
They were a successful independent duo, prior to landing their record contract with EMI Music.
Although they received little mainstream commercial airplay following James' departure, they found second life in the techno genre.
