Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was the definition of the ultimate pro sports journeyman career.
He played on 11 different teams, which includes three separate stints on the Giants and two on the Phillies.
His first tenure with the Giants is remembered for him getting the ball stuck in the webbing his glove, and throwing the glove with the ball inside of it to record the out (1986).
He bounced back and forth between the starting and relief roles.
He was traded at mid-season five times.
He was released by the Diamondbacks after five games with the team, which essentially ended his career.

Why he might not be annoying:

He majored in sports medicine at Marietta College.
He was considered to have one of the nastiest pickoff pitches by baseball pundits.
He pitched the lone no-hitter in the history of Philadelphia's Veterans Stadium (August 15, 1990).
That no-hitter was against the Giants, making him the first pitcher in 26 years to throw a no-hitter against his former team.
He was the first pitcher in major league history to record a win against all 30 teams.
