    He has a whiny singing voice.
    He quit Lonestar to pursue a solo career.
    He wore western clothing and a 10 gallon cowboy hat when he first made his singing debut.
    He recorded the duet 'Maybe He'll Notice Her Now' with Mindy McCready which failed to crack the top 20 on the country charts.
    He missed a few tour dates as a result of illness.
