Why he might be annoying:

He has failed to gain the popularity his father once had despite surpassing his father's jumping ability.
Many feel his jumps are too calculated and thus an element of danger is missing.
He called off a televised canyon jump at the last minute due to what he considered poor weather.
On another televised special, they exploited his family by having his teary-eyed daughter sing the National Anthem before he jumped.

Why he might not be annoying:

He began riding at two.
His frequent television specials and talk-show appearances will ensure the Knievel name is not forgotten.
He was one of the most distinguished motorcycle jumpers of the 2000s.
