Why they might be annoying:

There was an Australian all-female group by this same name — from the mid-60s!
They list Ed Sheeran as an influence.
Their YouTube playlist of covers invited comparisons to One Direction — particularly the dreaded ‘boy band’ label.
Ball is the only non-Briton of the group (Scottish).
They made a cameo on British soap ‘Hollyoaks.’

Why they might not be annoying:

They list Blink 182 and Mumford & Sons as influences.
The other three met through social media; a mutual friend hooked them up with Ball.
According to Simpson: ‘Bands used to form through an advert in the [New Musical Express], but now it's amazing what you can find on YouTube.’
They performed at a number of UK festival events as support for fellow British acts (and Lovato, an American).
According to the Birmingham Mail, being chased by girls isn’t much of an issue to them.
The music video clip for ‘Oh Cecilia’ – with a shipwreck theme – has to be seen to be believed.
