Why he might be annoying
He is a pretty boy.
He opted to forego his last two years of college eligibility to turn professional.
In elementary school, he was granted permission to use his lunch break to go skating as he was often distracted by seeing his brother and father skating while he was in class.
His uniform number #43 is half of his brother's uniform #86.
He is overshadowed by his brother, due to the latter's draft billing.
Why he might not be annoying
He was born in Orlando, when his father Jim served as an assistant coach for the IHL's Solar Bears.
He was the first player born in Florida to be selected in the first round.
He played the majority of the NCAA hockey playoffs on a broken foot during his sophomore season.
He is the sixth rookie defenseman in NHL history to record 30 assists in under 50 games.
He, along with Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson made the Canucks the first franchise to have a rookie compete in the NHL All-Star Game in three consecutive seasons.
