During one of his arguments with New Line executives, he punched a wall and broke his hand.
He filed a $275 million lawsuit against New Line and the Directors Guild of America when they refused to let him use ‘Humpty Dumpty’ instead of his name in the credits.
He derailed his career in Hollywood with his antics over ‘American History X.’

He likes to perform at music and comedy open mic nights in Los Angeles and London.
He brought in the original cut of ‘American History X’ on time and on budget.
You cannot deny that he is passionate about his artistic vision.
He later conceded, ‘I understand now that when someone offers advice, you shouldn't flare up and throw some prima-donna hissy fit. Better to come up with answers to their questions - or to lie and say you'll give it some thought. I couldn't grasp that.’
