Why she might be annoying:

She was a child star.
She acted in a bizarre, all-child version of the Bugsy Siegel story (starring Scott Baio), in which the gangsters’ guns shot whipped cream instead of bullets.
She sang the main title for ‘The Worst Witch,’ a legendarily awful TV special starring Charlotte Rae and Tim Curry.
She was the least popular ‘Doctor Who’ co-star in the history of the series.
She was one of the only co-stars to be fired because of negative audience response.
One critic called her ‘a red-headed monster from a distant galaxy – its piercing voice can shatter reinforced concrete.’

Why she might not be annoying:

After she was fired from ‘Doctor Who,’ she had a nervous breakdown.
Most fans of the show actually blamed the writers for their hatred of her character.
Despite her bad ‘Doctor Who’ experience, she has a sense of humor about it all, and even appears at sci-fi conventions.
She is an accomplished stage actress and singer.
