Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He bounced around the league in his first few NHL seasons prior to establishing himself as a mainstay in Calgary.
He was considered a bottom pairing defenseman in the early stages of his career.
He earned a 20 game suspension from the NHL, after he delivered a vicious cross check on a referee (January 27, 2016).
Some hockey pundits felt he got off lightly, considering the force of the cross-check.
He lost his appeal, after it was revealed he sent a text message to a teammate citing his displeasure with the league's decision to suspend him for a long period.

Why he might not be annoying:

He worked his way to the NHL as an eight round draft pick.
He scored the 18,000th goal in the history of the Bruins franchise (December 31, 2007).
He established himself as an offensive defenseman upon his trade to Boston.
He was part of a memorable prank by his teammates in Washington, as he was locked out of the dressing room on live TV following an interview with a reporter hours after being traded to the team (2010).
