The show prompted one columnist from 'Marie Claire' magazine to write an article on how she was grossed about how disgusting it was to see two obese people fall in love.
Some overweight people find the show offensive.
Mike and Molly have to deal with comments about their weight from friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
There are many lame jokes regarding obesity.
Why Mike and Molly might not be annoying
The show received positive reviews from TV critics.
It gave acting jobs to some famous faces, notably Kurtz and McCarthy.
The show is the brainchild of 'Two and a Half Men' writer and executive producer Chuck Lorre.
Brian Lowry of 'Vareity' said the show was, 'reasonably gentle, and the two leads brings a necessary vulnerability to their roles that should have viewers rooting for them.'
It was a surprise television hit in its freshman season.
