    Some of the stunts involved the contestants getting messy, smoking, or having men dress as women.
    Bud Collyer would often interrupt the contestants during the stunts to give them useless tips.
    In the 50's, the grand prize was usually a TV manufactured by Sylvania (their main sponsor).
    Unlike most shows of its kind, the stunts focused more on skill rather than humiliating the contestants.
    It inspired similar shows, such as Double Dare.
    James Dean was a stunt tester on the show before hitting it big.
    TV Guide ranked it #23 in their '50 Greatest Games Shows of All Time.'
