Cheered their team to World Championships in 1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, and 1990

Why they might be annoying:

They root for a team whose first World Series win was thanks to gamblers fixing it.
They had to put up with Marge Schott's embarrassing behavior.
They idolize Pete Rose and feel he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, no matter what.
ESPN Sportscaster Joe Morgan and former member of the 75-76 Big Red Machine, tends to compare all other great teams to them. Despite other teams winning three, four or even five straight world series or having stellar season of winning more than 110 games, he is still bias and considers Big Red Machine as baseball's finest.

Why they might not be annoying:

They cheered on the third most successful manager in the history of the game, Sparky Anderson.
Their stadium has so little foul territory that they are closer to the action.
During the 90's, they had one of the lowest prices for tickets, refreshments and products.
They love their team so much, they throw a parade every year on Opening Day, even if they didn't win the World Series the year before.
They enjoy hearing their sportscaster Joe Nuxhall’s trademark close of the game 'Rounding third and heading for home.'
They enjoy Cincinnati-style chili at their home games.
They especially enjoy taunting Barry Bonds and Mike Piazza.
They root for the first professional baseball team.
After a Red's home run is hit, they are treated to smokestacks blowing off steam.
When they dominated in 1975 and 1976, they called their team 'The Big Red Machine.'
A three story building is built into the ball park to house the Cincinnati Red Hall of Fame.
Today, they can get drunk in the stadium pub, called 'The Machine.'
