Organization

The Resume

    (1921- )
Born in New York, New York
    Organization based in New York
Supposedly dedicated to improving American relations with other countries
Notable members include Henry Kissinger, Dan Rather, Colin Powell, several US Presidents and Secretaries of State
Subject of much suspicion by members of the far-left and far-right who think it undermines American sovereignty and promotes one world government
They publish a journal, Foreign Affairs

Why they might be annoying:

For an organization that denies supporting a one world government, they support a lot of things (a standardized international tax code, a permanent standing army and police force under UN control) that sound like they do.
Their membership roll is unbelievable, including numerous presidents, VPs, Secretaries of State, CIA directors, members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and network news anchors.
Their meetings are held in secret.
No major news organization has ever done an in depth investigation of them.
Many members holding elective offices, including former vice-president Dick Cheney, admit hiding their membership from their constituents.

Why they might not be annoying:

They give conspiracy buffs something to do.
They thought up the Marshall Plan and NATO, and they worked out okay.
Anything to keep politicians out of our personal lives is a good idea.
    Amiannoying.com isn't afraid of them!
