Premise: Chefs compete to earn the title of Top Chef

Why Top Chef might be annoying:

Judge Tom Colicchio is the poor man's Tim Gunn.
Contestants have complained that the kitchen appliances are of poor quality.
Season one winner 'Harold Dieterle's 'feature in Food & Wine Magazine' was just a small blurb.
Season one host Katie Lee Joel was fired for being extremely wooden on camera.
Padma Lakshmi isn't much better.
Tom Colicchio often stumbles over his words while judging or speaking to the contestants.
During the first season, five contestants were forced to cater a wedding with 100 guests in 16 hours.
The official website lets viewers 'rate the plate' even though the dishes cannot be tasted.

Why Top Chef might not be annoying:

Most of the contestants are highly experienced and talented.
It is one of Bravo's highest rated shows.
