Why America's Got Talent might be annoying:

It is another American Idol knockoff.
It is basically just a tamed-down version of 'The Gong Show' with a bigger cash prize.
It features no-talents Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff judging other peoples' talents.
They allow goofy acts (like a male Shakira impersonater) into the semi-finals.
Regis Philbin and Brandy Norwood left the show after the first season.
Piers Morgan comes across as a Simon Cowell wannabe.
David Hasselhoff once performed his song 'Jump in My Car' on the show.

Why America's Got Talent might not be annoying:

It features a wide variety of acts, including singers, comedians, magicians, etc.
Many other countries have started their own versions of the show.
It gives regular people the chance to cash-in on their talents.
They sometimes have special guests like Penn & Teller and 'Britan's Got Talent' champ Paul Potts preform on the show.
It is one of the few shows on NBC that actually gets good ratings.
