    Resided in Irvine, California
    Suffers from porphyria cutanea tarda (PCT), which can damage skin with exposure to any level of sunlight
    Nicknamed the ‘Illustrated Lady'
    Appeared on Ripley's Believe It or Not (2001) and Larry King Live (2002)

Why she might be annoying:

    Her entire body is covered in tattoos.
    Initially she did it to cover her skin disease; it soon blossomed into a full-fledged addiction.
    She cannot have laser surgery because it damage her skin.
    The ink on her tattoos needs to be as heavy as possible; the thinner, the greater the risk.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She found a practical use for tattoos: to protect her skin from boils and scars (but she managed to get some, anyway).
    Most of her tattoos are based on images from television and film as well as events and people in her own life.
    She had no interest in getting into the Guinness Book of World Records.
    She ran a bakery business.
    She was a keyboardist, lead vocalist, and songwriter for a local band.
