    Former vocalist of Fear Factory
    Recorded 'Soul of a New Machine' (1992), 'Fear is the Mindkiller' (remix album-1993), 'Demanufacture' (1995), 'Obsolete' (1998) and 'Digimortal' (2001)
    First demo recording was re-released in 2002 retitled 'Concrete'
    His pre FF bands included Hate Face and Alceratio

Why he might be annoying:

    He basically walked into the studio one day and told the other members of Fear Factory.
    He has a right arm covered, some tribal tattoo on his left, sun and words tattoo on his stomach, flames and the letters FF tattoo on his right leg. (guitarist Dino Cazares, drummer Raymond Herrera and bassist Christian Olde-Wolbers) that he was tired of playing with them, singling out Dino in particular. Dino later stated that prior to this,Burton had been drinking, so it was assumed by the group Burton was a little drunk.
    He is tattooed.
    Although he had progressively 'cleaner' vocals on Fear Factory's later albums, his vocals on 'Soul of a New Machine' were demonic sounding and hoarse.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He appeared in Nirvana's 'Smells like Teen Spirit' video.
    He collects Star Trek figures.
    Fear Factory's second album, 'Demanufacture' is ranked among some of the best heavy metal albums ever produced.
    He almost drowned in an undertow when he was thirteen.
    He said if he wasn't a musician, he'd like to have written a book.
    Fear Factory had a recurring theme of man against machine.
