Why he might be annoying:

He was the first actor signed to a Disney contract. He was just nine.
He blew his money on alcohol and drugs.
His was arrested at 16 for marijuana possession.
His drug problems went from marijuana to speed and heroin.
He married Marilyn Jean Rush at 19 against both their parents' wishes. They divorced three kids later.
He was jailed in Chino State Penitentiary in 1965 for attempting to rob a veterinarian for drug money.
He summed up his life with the quote 'I was carried on a satin cushion and dropped into a garbage can.'
He was found dead in a garbage-filled New York apartment with heroin-needle tracks on his arm.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was very cooperative on the set. He never complained.
When he was 9 he wanted to grow up to be a G-man.
Was the first ever male to play Peter Pan, even though it was animated.
Was given a miniature Oscar in 1950 for Outstanding Juvenile Actor, mostly for his performance in 'The Window'
Was considered at the time the most talented child actor find since Jackie Cooper.
Even after puberty, the quality of his acting performances never declined.
Was a straight-A student in school and was very easy to get along with.
Was found dead without identification and was buried in a pauper's grave on Hart Island. Fingerprints confirmed his identity a year and a half later.
