The Resume

    (February 25, 1913-January 28, 1950)
    Born in Gagnoa
    Birth name was Biaka Boda
Ivorian lawyer and politician of the Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire - African Democratic Rally
Elected Senator in the French National Assembly, representing colonial French West Africa (Nov. 14, 1948)
Mysteriously went missing in the jungles of Bouaflé on the Ivory Coast, only 15 months into his term (Jan. 28, 1950)

Why he might be annoying:

He was a Bete tribal 'witch doctor' who was elected to political office.
He was described as a 'small, thin worried looking man.'
When he returned to the Ivory Coast to campaign for reelection, his touring car broke down in the Ivorian jungles.
While his chauffeur worked on the car, he disappeared into the woods to go for a walk (and was never heard from again).
It remains unclear as to what became of him, although it is strongly believed that he was abducted and eaten by disgruntled (and hungry) native constituents.
Conflicting reports claim that he made a campaign promise to tribal shaman 'sorcerers' that they could deliver his young wife in childbirth, if he was elected (needless to say he didn't keep the commitment).
The unusual circumstances of his death earned him the nicknames 'Senator Soup' and 'The Small Senator.'
Ivorian natives continue to deny rumors of cannibalism, mainly because the wiry, sickly-looking Senator 'wasn't exactly a tempting morsel.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He serves as a cautionary tale for politicians.
He inspired the phrase 'you can't have your Senator and eat him too'
He is the namesake for a stadium in Gagnoa.
He was described as kind, simple, and eager to serve his party and constituents.
He was officially pronounced dead by French authorities when charred, bleached bones along with his belongings were found near the site of his disappearance (March 1953).
Some believe he was assassinated by rival African Democratic Assembly members who used the cannibalism story as a cover-up. It is known that cannibals rarely leave the bones of their victims (he also hadn't been in office long enough to piss off constituents).
