Wrestler

The Resume

    (February 19, 1949-March 20, 1995)
    Birth name is John Minton
Wrestled for the WWE, WCCW, WWA and Mid-Atlantic

Why he might be annoying:

His size was really the only reason he got the push he got, as his wrestling was mediocre at best.
He was known for telling his kids to thank Andre the Giant and Blackjack Mulligan because it was them who were responsible for everything he and his family had.
To make him look the size of Andre, he wore thick lifts in his wrestling boots.
While having a match with Andre, Andre fell asleep in the middle of it and Studd had to hold him in a headlock while trying to revive him.
He made a comeback in the late-80's as a face to feud with Andre the Giant, who turned heel, but the comeback didn't get much attention from fans and he left the WWE for good almost as quickly as he came back.
He's a member of the WCW Hall of Fame only because many friends of his in the promotion lobbied to induct him.
After his death, his doctor went on ABC's Wide World of Sports in a much-publicized segment and tied his usage of steroids to the cancer that killed him.
Studd claimed his disease was from the jarring his system took after a motorcycle accident while filming 'Marlboro Man.'
He was a witness in Vince McMahon's steroid trial and he said the doctor who distributed the drugs was doing him and wrestling a great service because steroids played an important part in a wrestlers regimen to help maintain their performance level.

Why he might not be annoying:

When the WWE went national, he was one of the key heels in the promotion and his feud with Andre the Giant was a classic that included body slam contests.
He was trained by Killer Kowalski.
He eliminated William Perry from the battle royal at WrestleMania 2.
The first match in his comeback in the late-80's saw him winning the Royal Rumble, the first man to do so on Pay-Per-View.
    He's ranked #47 in Total Wrestling Magazine's 100 Greatest Heels of All-Time.
He died of Hodgkin's disease at the age of 46.
