Why he might be annoying:

What's with the apostrophe in his name?
    He was typecast as villains.
He mostly appeared in low-budget cult films, including a ton of direct-to-video flicks.
On MST3K, Tom Servo said his face looked like 'a catcher's mitt with eyes.'

Why he might not be annoying:

His enlarged jaw was caused by a genetic condition.
Before going into acting, he was a Chicago police officer, a Chippendale dancer, and the singer and keyboardist for a rock band, Nova Express, that was an opening act for Jefferson Airplane and the Who.
He had a reputation for being approachable and was a popular guest at horror and sci-fi conventions.
