    Trailing the Minnesota Vikings 14-10 in a 1975 playoff game, he threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to win the game in the final seconds of play. Afterwards, he told reporters he prayed a 'Hail Mary' before throwing the ball. Ever since then, a last-second desperation pass is referred to as a 'Hail Mary.'
    In total, he staged 23 fourth quarter comebacks.
    He played his entire career with one team.
    He is one of Hank Hill's heroes.
