Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

It took him six years to crack the Canucks as a full-time player.
Despite his status as being an unproven goaltender at the NHL level, he signed a lucrative contract with the Canucks.
He was anointed as the Canucks starting goaltender going into the 2012-13 season, yet he proved to be inconsistent.
He traded to New Jersey, and was penciled in as a backup to Martin Brodeurin his first season with the club.
He went 1-4 in the playoffs during his two seasons as the Canucks starting goaltender, both times relieving Luongo as the starter after the second game.

Why he might not be annoying:

He had a standout college career at Boston College going 65-25-7 in 97 games, in which he recorded 15 shutouts and guided the school to two Frozen Four appearances.
He was a co-recipient of the William M. Jennings Trophy in his first full NHL season.
He and Roberto handled what could have been a toxic situation in the Canucks dressing room with class, playing off rumors of a feud.
He was traded to the Devils after the Canucks were unable to trade Roberto as a result of the latter's contract.
He was the first Devil goaltender, other than Martin Brodeur to start a season opening game for the team in twenty years (2013).
