Hockey Player

The Resume

    (July 24, 1975- )
    Born in Cloquet, Minnesota
Drafted 35th overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft
Winger for the Dallas Stars (1995-2002) and New Jersey Devils (2002-)
Won silver medal as captain of the US Men's Ice Hockey Team at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics

Why he might be annoying:

He opted out of his senior year in high school in order to turn pro.
The first time he was part of the Men's US Hockey Team in the 1998 Winter Olympics, his team fell short of wining a medal.
His last name is hard to spell.
The team that he captained at the 2010 Winter Olympics lost the gold medal deciding game to Canada despite having defeated them in the Preliminary Round.

Why he might not be annoying:

He helped the Stars earn their first Stanley Cup title.
He was a teammate of Scott Niedermayer in New Jersey, who ironically played against him in the Vancouver Olympics.
He scored in overtime against the Ottawa Senators in the 2007 playoffs.
In 2009, he became the first player to have three consecutive multi-goal scoring games since ice hockey great Wayne Gretzky did so in 1981.
