Played for the Texas Rangers (1988-1991, 2003), Detroit Tigers (1992-1994), Seattle Mariners (1995), Anaheim Angels (1996-1997),
Chicago White Sox (1998), Kansas City Royals (1999) and Los Angeles Dodgers (2000-2002)

Why he might be annoying:

He was released by the Texas Rangers after refusing to be sent down to triple A (May 2003).
The Rangers signed him in 2003 because he was Chan Ho Park’s personal catcher when they played together on the Dodgers. Park was a terrible pitcher for the Rangers.
When he played with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he chased a Chicago Cub fan in the stands after the fan stole his hat from his head (Wrigley Field, May 2000). He was suspended for eight games and fined $5,000 for that incident.
The fan he attacked was awarded $475,000 by the Cubs.
He ignored a teenager’s request to have his picture taken with him at a Dodger Stadium ‘FujiFilm Photo Day.’

Why he might not be annoying:

He came back from a bad shoulder injury that he obtained from a brutal collision at home plate with Mark Lemke. The injury ended Lemke’s career, but his career continued for another 7 years (1996).
He caught Nolan Ryan's 5000th strikeout (August 22, 1989).
He went to Pepperdine University (California) on a scholarship.
