Why he might be annoying:

    He frequently threw interceptions.
    He guided the Rams to the 1955 NFL Championship and lost to the Cleveland Browns, 14-38.
    He was the 1958 NFL leader for times fumbled with 14.
    He contributed a losing 13-23 record as the Rams' starting quarterback.
    He turned down an offer to take George Halas's place as the Bears' head coach.

    He took military service as he served in the U.S. Navy before he started his NFL career.
