    Recorded the comedy albums 'Race' and 'Master Piece'
    Nominated for a Grammy for 'Race'

Why he might be annoying:

    He ran away from home as a teenager in order to join the circus.
    Although he has written for many influential comedians and performers, he is still virtually unknown.
    His jokes are often times influenced by personal political agendas and how racist the United States truly is.
    He once said: 'Well, white folks, you shouldn't have ever made up the word. You fucked up, I say 'nigga' 100 times ever morning; it makes my teeth white.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He considers himself the 'first black ringmaster.'
    He created Damons Wayans' Homey the Clown character.
    Both of his sons, Daryl and Dwayne, are comedians.
    Sandra Bernhard credits him with providing her first big break.
    In addition to writing for several shows, he has also written stand-up material for Richard Pryor and Red Foxx.
    He is thankful towards Dave Chappelle for helping his exposure to a younger audience.
