Also known for his solo singles such as ‘Never Gonna Let You Go,’ ‘Rainbow’s End,’ ‘Olympia’ and ‘Alibis’

Why he might be annoying:

Although he was named the primary artist behind the 1983 hit single ‘Never Gonna Let You Go,’ he didn’t provide either of the two voices in the popular duet.
The male singer of his single ‘Never Gonna Let You Go,’ named Joe Pizzulo, also sang three more hit singles on Sergio’s behalf.
The name of the band he worked with constantly changed from Brasil ’65 to Brasil ’66 to Brasil ’77 to Brasil ’88.

Why he might not be annoying:

He took classical piano lessons as a child with the intentions of becoming a classic pianist.
He later became hooked on jazz and his own music took on a Bossa Nova and Samba influence.
His 2006 album ‘Timeless’ featured artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Erykah Badu, India.Arie, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Q-Tip and Stevie Wonder.
Because he visibly had other singers performing ‘Never Gonna Let You Go’ in his shows (and properly credited them), he technically did not pull a Milli Vanilli.
His career spans more than 45 years.
He worked with Herb Alpert back in the 60's.
