Why she might be annoying:

She pokes fun at the set designs seen in furniture catalogs such as Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and West Elm using pictures from the catalogs then adding captions.
In her comical site, she created a couple named Gary and Elaine who live in a 10,000 room house, have a huge brood of children of different ethnicities and are obsessed with the color beige.
She is a reviewer for movie rating site Rotten Tomatoes.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her idea behind Catalog Living is to point out that while the set designs are bold and beautiful from an artistic standpoint, many are impractical in real life.
Her idea for Catalog Living was conceived after she was leafing through a catalog and saw a picture of a poolside lounging area that had a plate of figs under the table.
She eventually captioned the pic with 'Sweetheart, the Turners will be here any minute now! Did you put the plate of figs under the table?' which became the start of her website.
As an improv performer, she has performed in front of Barack Obama.
As a teen who loved to perform, she formed an improv group at her high school.
Her site has developed an impressive fan base and even has a Facebook fan page.
The Facebook fan page allows fans to add their own captions to the featured picture of the day.
Furniture and home decorating companies have become aware of her site with one Pottery Barn catalog picture featuring a kitchen chalkboard note saying: 'Dinner with Gary and Elaine, Buy Figs!'
