Why she might be annoying:

    She works in Iraq knowing full well the dangers of the country.
    Her translator, Allan Enwiyah, was murdered when she was abducted.
    The kidnappers are requesting that all Iraqi female prisoners be released (There are 8 of them). Six of them are already scheduled to be released. These releases have no connection to the kidnapper's demands.

Why she might not be annoying:

    After being laid off by the Wall Street Journal, she decided to pursue her dream as a foreign correspondent.
    She was kidnapped immediately after her interview with Adnan al-Dulaimi was cancelled.
    World leaders, Adnan al-Dulaimi, her family, and international Muslim clerics have called on the kidnappers to let her go.
    The Koran explicitly forbids kidnapping of women.
