Why he might be annoying:

    He was originally drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves, but his trading rights were transferred to the Heat.
    He sports many tattoos on his body.
    In 2008. Chalmers and another former Jayhawks teammate were excused from the NBA's rookie transition program for a marijuana-related incident that never really materialized.
    He was later fined $50,000 for the incident and another $20,000 for missing rookie camp.
    He was forced to change his jersey number from 6 to 15 when egomaniacal player LeBron James arrived in Miami.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was part of the 2007-2008 University of Kansas basketball team that won the NCAA Championship.
    He helped the team clinch that title by hitting a dramatic three-pointer with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to send the game against the Memphis Tigers into overtime.
    He won various collegiate accolades.
    He set a new Miami Heat team record for steals with nine in just his fourth game in the NBA (November 6, 2008).
