He's the youngest of seven children born to unmarried couple Kit Culkin and Patricia Bentrup.

He played the game 'Asses Up' along with his 'Mean Creek' co-stars during a limo ride in NYC, where they'd moon other drivers at every red light.
All too often, he plays the young version of his older brother's roles in many movies.

He worked with Michael Douglas, Kirk Douglas, Laura Linney, Mel Gibson, Joaquin Phoenix and Ralph Fiennes.
His performance in 'You Can Count On Me (2000)' was not only good but redeemed the Culkin name that was defamed by his father.
In his review of 'You Can Count On Me (2000),' Rolling Stone film critic Peter Travers described him as 'the one Culkin that can act.'
His laid back nature can be mistaken for cockiness.
He plays drums as a hobby.
