    Provided voices for Winnie the Pooh and Owl, Goofy, Elmer Fudd, and various roles in 'Clutch Cargo,' 'Gumby,' 'Davey and Goliath,' 'The Flintstones,' 'Scooby Doo, Where Are You?', 'The Smurfs' and 'Duck Tales'
    Appeared in the films 'Stars Over Texas' (1946), 'Hot Car Girl' (1958), 'The Three Stooges Meet Hercules' (1962), 'The Ghost and Mr. Chicken' (1966), 'The Million Dollar Duck' (1971) and 'The Hazing' (1977)

Why he might be annoying:

    He worked as a real estate agent between acting roles.
    Ironically, considering the character that made him famous, he was a teetotaler.
    He reprised the Otis character for Alan Jackson's 'Don't Rock the Jukebox' video and a commercial for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was married to Vivian Angstadt for 53 years until her death.
    He was injured in the Northridge earthquake (January 17, 1994), dying of a heart attack two weeks later.
    A biographer called him 'the best sober drunk in Hollywood.'
