He was a recovering alcoholic.
He was part of the lopsided Eric Lindros trade.
He had tattoos.
He sported a mullet during the earlier stages of his career.
He was suspended for three games after calling Mike Grier a 'nigger' to his face during a game (1997).
He sat out part of the 1996-97 season as a result of a contract dispute which led to his trade to the Capitals.
He became a journeyman player in the latter part of his career.
