    Casualty of the ValuJet Flight 592 plane crash (May 11, 1996)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was undersized in stature for a running back.
    He was primarily used in short yardage situations during his tenure with the Colts.
    He was overshadowed by Natrone Means in the Chargers backfield.
    He was the second player from the 1994 Chargers team to pass away in the years following the team's Super Bowl appearance.
    Some journalists in the San Diego area claim his death is attributed to the city's sports team curse.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He grew up in the projects of Detroit, and was childhood friends with Jerome Bettis.
    He was considered wise beyond his years from both coaches and teammates alike.
    He earned his degree in finance from Notre Dame in 3-1/2 years.
    He scored the final touchdown of his career, in a game against the New York Giants, that was best remembered for being played in blizzard-like conditions (1995).
    He and his wife were killed in a plane crash, returning from a cruise in Florida.
    He and his wife had two daughters, who were 2 and 1 respectively at the time of their deaths.
