The Resume

    (April 5, 1995- )
    Born in London, Ontario, Canada
    Raised in Rodney, Ontario, Canada

Why he might be annoying:

His actual first name is Bowie.
Despite growing up near Toronto, he was a rabid Detroit Red Wings fan.
He made the roster of a Junior B team in St. Thomas as a result of his uncle owning the team.
Due to his first name, many sports journalists often use the 'Bo Knows' line in their articles.
He admitted in an interview he is virtually devoid of any interests away from hockey.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was selected in the ninth overall spot in both the Ontario Hockey League and National Hockey League drafts.
The Canucks traded Cory Schneider to the New Jersey Devils to acquire the draft pick used to select him (2013).
He surprised the Canucks coaching staff by earning a roster spot as a 19 year old, which they considered unexpected.
He surpassed Trevor Linden as the youngest All-Star in the history of the Canucks franchise.
He wears #53 in honor of Ian Jackson (who wore #35), who would have been his teammate in London was killed in a car collision.
