Why he might be annoying:

Speaking of his fast food competition, he said: 'This is rat eat rat, dog eat dog. I'll kill 'em, and I'm going to kill 'em before they kill me.'
McDonald's was an original single restaurant (1953) until he built the chain for the McDonald Brothers, and eventually bought the entire operation for just $2.7 million (1961).
His hamburgers are called 'Junk Food.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He said: 'It's easy to have principles when you're rich. The important thing is to have principles when you're poor.'
He capitalized on the idea of 'eat and run,' rather than dine.
He believes in friendly service, low cost, no waiting and no reservations.
At 15 years old, he lied about his age to join the Red Cross and help aid WW I soldiers.
When he founded the McDonald's chain, he was 52 with diabetes and arthritis (1955).
