Why The Weird Al Show might be annoying:

    It was a ripoff of 'Pee-Wee's Playhouse.'
    Weird Al originally wanted to have a crazy show that his fans could enjoy, but because of the FCC's rules, it had to be an educational show.
    Al spent a lot of time on the show talking to his pet hamster.
    CBS would force them to remove any 'imitatible behavior' that children might mimic, yet, apparently had no problem with a scene where two puppets commit suicide.
    Flavor-of-the-month pop stars like Hanson would sometimes perform on the show.
    It featured frequent, recurring jokes about the uvula.

Why The Weird Al Show might not be annoying:

    Although the show was supposed to be aimed at children, Al was able to sneak in some of his trademark satirical humor.
    The Barenaked Ladies performed on the show.
    It featured guest appearances from celebrities like Dick Clark and Drew Carey.
    It has a cult following.
