Kidnapped, tortured and raped six women who he held prisoner in the basement of his house in Philadelphia
Killed two captives, one by starvation, one by electrocution
Executed by lethal injection

Why he might be annoying:

He worked as a psychiatric nurse at a VA hospital until he was fired for absenteeism and rude behavior towards patients.
He attempted suicide 13 times.
He forced his mail-order bride to watch as he had sex with other women.
He served three years in a mental institution after abducting and raping his girlfriend's sister (1980-83).
When he abducted groups of women, he would encourage them to inform on each other in return for better treatment.
He also frequently forced the women to beat each other.
When he was arrested, he tried arguing that the women were already in the house when he moved in.

Why he might not be annoying:

His father would humiliate him over his bedwetting by hanging the stained sheets where the neighbors would see them.
In school, he was bullied and teased by other students over his misshapen head (caused by a fall from a tree).
When he joined the army, his drill instructor in basic training graded him as 'excellent.'
He turned a $1,500 investment into $500,000 over twelve years.
His investing prowess was used by the prosecution at his trial to counter his attempt to plead insanity.
