Why he might be annoying:

Many of his titles sound weird, such as 'First Secretary of the Secretariat.'
He is a communist.
When the Tibetans protested in favor of secession, he declared martial law.
He has the same first name (Jintao) as the villain in Jackie Chan's movie 'Rush Hour.'
Some Tibetans suspect that he had a role in the death of Tibet's second-highest ranking lama.
After the US accidentally bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade, he orchestrated anti-US demonstrations.

Why he might not be annoying:

He has introduced policies that support market economics.
One of his sayings is that success in life 'requires resolve, attention to concrete matters and courage in making decisions.'
He is the first supreme party leader who was not involved in the Chinese Civil War.
He enjoys playing tennis.
