    His name is hard to pronounce.
    He guided the Canadiens to just one playoff appearance in the late 1990s.
    His teams in Montreal set the NHL record for most man games lost due to injury.
    Despite having a winning record, he was fired by the Canadiens midway through the 2000-01 season.
    His Canucks teams often made early exits from the playoffs.

    He guided the Canadiens to an upset of the #2 seed Pittsburgh in the Eastern Quarter-Finals (1998).
    He guided the Canucks to a franchise record 49 wins in his first season as the team's head coach.

    He guided the Vancouver Canucks to the Stanley Cup finals (2011).
    He served as an assistant coach for Canada at the World Junior Championships (1991).
