Why he might be annoying:

His first dummy was a Jerry Mahoney doll he altered with brown paint.
He's done TV commercials for McDonald's, Toyota, Haggar Slacks and Maxwell House Coffee.
He quoted, 'The reason lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place is that the same place isn't there the second time.'
Lester has been mass produced and can be bought online, complete with plaid pants and matching pimp hat.

Why he might not be annoying:

He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.
He taught himself ventriloquism by sending for an instruction book he saw in a Popular Mechanics ad.
He was signed by Motown to open for acts such as The Temptations, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles and The Four Tops (Lester claims billing was '4 Tops & A Stick').
He made a guest appearance in the Fat Boys music video 'Sex Machine.'
In 2005 he was presented with with an 'Askins Achievement Award' for outstanding contribution to the art of ventriloquism.
