The Resume

    (May 23, 1972- )
    Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Full name is Rubens Gonçalves Barrichello
    Formula One racing driver
    11-time Grand Prix winner
Drove for Jordan (1993-96), Stewart (1997-99), Ferrari (2000-05), Honda (2006-08), Brawn GP (2009), and Williams (2010-11)
Chairman of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (2010-12)

Why he might be annoying:

He shares his father's birthday (hence his nickname - Rubinho, 'little Rubens').
He came out on top during a Formula Three championship only because David Coulthard suffered car problems in the penultimate round (1991).
He didn't achieve a Grand Prix victory for seven years into his career.
He cried when the Brazilian national anthem was played following his 2000 German Grand Prix win.
He admitted to feeling like he lived in the shadow of his old mentor, Ayrton Senna, mainly because after Senna's death he became his home country's new spokesman (but was unable to equal his predecessor).
To top all this off, he was dogged, throughout 2009, by rumors that he would be replaced in Brawn GP by his mentor's nephew, Bruno Senna.
His attempt at a comeback by driving for Caterham F1 never took off.
He lost his seat at the Williams Formula One, in 2011, and then lost his Grand Prix chair position in short order.

Why he might not be annoying:

He scored the eleventh highest points total in Formula One history.
As of 2011, he holds the record for most races in Formula One, at 322.
He was invaluable towards the winning of five constructors' titles for Ferrari.
The retirement of Michael Schumacher, in 2006, saw him be named the most experienced driver in F1 history.
He's known for being very personable/down-to-earth when making public appearances.
He went on to a very successful career as an F1 sports commentator for he Brazilian network, TV Globo.
He rates his victory in the 2003 British Grand Prix at Silverstone as his career highlight.
He barely survived a devastating crash at the beginning of the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix weekend, in which his car virtually flipped (he sustained a broken nose and arm).
Ironically, the first person he saw when he regained consciousness was Ayrton Senna, who had rushed to the hospital to visit him (Senna would die in a car crash of his own only days later).
He later said: 'For me, Ayrton was so special. In my career he showed me so many kindnesses ... [he] was my guide, my joy in racing. Now I know that he is up there, an angel, looking over me.'
