Why he might be annoying:

His doctoral thesis was called ‘Reproductive Behavior of the Ten-spined Stickleback.'
His bestselling ‘The Naked Ape' angered many by describing human behavior from a strictly zoological perspective.
He said, ‘Biologically speaking, if something bites you it's more likely to be female.'
He believes apes can paint and has held exhibitions of their art.
He excused Albert Einstein's infidelities by arguing that geniuses are always unfaithful.

Why he might not be annoying:

His books and TV shows popularized zoology with the general public.
Some churches burned copies of ‘The Naked Ape' because of its direct treatment of sex.
In ‘The Naked Woman' he claims that women have a U and an A-Spot as well as a G-Spot.
When in his 70's he traveled around the world twice to do research.
He has been married to the same woman for over 50 years.
He is an accomplished surrealist painter.
